Live-In Carers For All Needs And Ages

Continuity Care introduces live-in carers to support and care for you in your own home

Continuity Care is a premium introduction agency, sourcing and providing live-in carers for a wide range of domestic care needs. We select carers exclusively for each client’s individual needs as we believe each person requires a carer with unique skill sets and abilities.

Each person has their own defined care needs, so we always get to know your individual requirements and understand your personal wishes in the first instance.

This enables us to introduce carers that will fit exactly with your health conditions and domestic situation.

Unlike residential care homes, with a live-in carer, you will be able to keep daily contact with your family and friends and continue to live the lifestyle of your choosing.

This means you can follow the activities, hobbies and interests you love, safe in the knowledge you are receiving the personal care and support you need at home, when you require it.

You will also receive one-to-one care as opposed to the ratio of one carer to four residents in a care home. Finally, you will find the cost savings of live-in care can be considerable compared to a residential home.

We care about your care

A caring relationship with all our
customers is fundamental to everything
we do, because understanding your needs is
critical to introducing the best carers for you.
We believe to establish successful introductions,
it is important to create a relationship
with you that is based on compassion,
attention to detail and trust.

Our carer introductions  range
broadly from companionship and
personal care, through to respite and
even complex disability support, all
delivered in the comfort of your own
home. However, we strongly believe
each live-in care solution is unique to
the individual receiving it, so the carers always
aim to provide exactly the level of care
you require.

Whether you are elderly, frail or have
a physical or learning disability, we will
supply you with a live-in carer who
will empathise, care and provide the
companionship and one to one support
that you need to continue living safely
at home. This means instead of moving
into a residential or care home, you can
retain your independence and won’t
have to give up your cherished home,
possessions or pets.

Local authorities may cover some or all of the cost of care in some circumstances, but the provision of funding is means-tested. This means that payments depend on what your needs are, how much money you have, and what level and type of care and support you require. This page gives some useful info and links.

Attendance Allowance is a tax-free benefit for people aged over 65 who need help with personal care including getting in and out of bed, washing, eating, medication or mobility, or because they can become confused and need someone to watch over them. Phone your local benefits office or 0345 605 6055.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) helps with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability if you’re aged 16 to 64. You could get between £21.55 and £138.05 a week. The rate depends on how your condition affects you, not the condition itself. Call 0800 917 2222.

Carer’s Allowance is a taxable benefit for people such as friends and family members, who look after someone who gets Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance. Extra expenses can be claimed for paying a carer or helper to provide support while you are out. Call 0345 608 4321 for more information.
